The Chancellor’s Autumn Statement amounted to a plan to steal Labour clothes and move on to Labour turf, says Bristol South MP Karin Smyth in an article newly published by Progress.
She says that whilst Labour will welcome positives in the Statement on things like front-line policing, apprenticeships, and the tax credit debacle, these are part of a Labour agenda, not a Tory one.
