Bristol’s All About Jobs & Apprenticeships events day reminder from Bristol South MP
Karin Smyth MP is reminding all constituents about the All About Jobs & Apprenticeships series of events that she is organising with Bristol City Council, the City of Bristol College, and the DWP on Thursday this week (25 March) from 3pm until 6pm.
Three online webinars will provide information about finding jobs and apprenticeships, as well as offer career support and guidance during this difficult time. These events are ideal for job seekers, those looking to progress in their career, and students about to finish school or college.
There will be three sessions held:
3.00pm – 4.00pm A focus on getting a job where a group of experts will discuss how to go about looking for a job, the help and support that is available to you in your job search, and the types of jobs that are waiting to be filled at the present time.
4.00pm – 5.00pm A focus on apprenticeships for people to learn more about finding apprenticeships and what they offer.
5.00pm – 6.00pm A focus on Health and Social Care will discuss how to pursue or progress a career in the health and social care sector.
Karin Smyth said:
“This year has been incredibly challenging for the labour market and so many people have struggled to find jobs and training during this difficult time. We know how daunting a job search can be and are pleased to offer this webinar with experts who are able to offer support and guidance for you.
“Apprenticeships are an undervalued way into the workplace, and I hope that young people and those looking for new opportunities will join us during this webinar to find out more. I hope to see as many people as possible taking advantage of these fantastic seminars with experts and representatives from different sectors, who will be providing some excellent advice about pursuing your path into employment.”
